The Unopened Gift
My children are my power source, my heart song and my reason to breathe. I am who I am because they have given me the opportunity to grow and become the person they believe I am.
I have received poems and flowers, cold tea and sticky kisses, paintings and hand-made cards. These have been my most treasured gifts over the years. Nothing compares to the love that goes into a hand made card, cake or bracelet.
Here is a poem I still have on my wall today. The box it refers to still sits on my dresser.
