We suffer busyness and overwhelm to the point of paralysis. We cannot do everything. Truth is, overwhelm stops us from doing anything.
Try this.
Do one thing. Focus on that one thing. Will you get it all done? Maybe. But you will get nothing done if you panic and sit on your hands. Or if you spend your energy fretting and worrying. ‘Maybe’ is better than ‘not a chance’. So give yourself a chance.
Do one thing. Then pick another and do that. Once you do one thing, then another, you will be surprised how productive you can be.
Whether or not you get everything done is not really the point. How much will you accomplish? Certainly more if you move forward rather than if you stare wide-eyed into the oncoming headlights.
