No matter who said it first, this is valuable information that can be difficult to know deeply. Everything is created as a thought first, an idea, before it can become a physical reality. First, you think something up, then you believe you can do it, and then you do it and it becomes a reality. If you cannot think it up, or believe you can do it, you cannot make it a reality.
A simple example of how this works might help. You are hungry. You have a thought that you should make lasagne. You have never made lasagna before but that does not matter. You believe that you can do it. You find a recipe. You follow the recipe. You make lasagna. You eat lasagna and feel happy and content.
Now imagine you want to make food, but you cannot imagine making lasagna. It will not happen. Or maybe the idea of making lasagna crosses your mind briefly, but you don’t believe you have the skill to make it. If you do not believe you can do it, you cannot do it. Only if you can think about making lasagna and believe that you can make lasagna, can you make lasagna. Therefore, if you cannot think it and believe it, you will go hungry.
This is a very benign example but the same process is true for getting a job, getting into shape, starting a business, and everything else we dream up. Making lasagna, like everything else, is not as difficult as it first appears.
